I recommend "Wrath of the Lich King", which is what everybody plays.

Well, TBC might be called "harder" than WotLK, but Warmane is known for its WotLK expansions.

TBC offers:
- 5x rates Outland realm. Item shop available.

WotLK offers:
- 1x rates realm, Lordaeron. Blizzlike and no queue to play. No item shop.
- 7x rates realm, Icecrown. Fast rates so you get to endgame content faster. Often full, so there will be queue. Item shop available.
- Instant lvl 80 PvP realm, Blackrock.

If you don't plan on donating to get premium, and to be bale to skip queue. I recommend TBC or WotLK's realm Lordaeron.
If you can donate, Icecrown is very much worth the small donation.

You can play TBC content with WotLK expansion.
You can't play WotLK content with TBC expansion.
