Question about class leveling

Hello

Yesterday I started playing with a friend, he's an Orc Hunter and Im Troll Mage. We got to lvl7. I want to know if all the quests are the same, because i want us 2 to do everything together. If not, please tell me what are the differences and if I should switch to Troll Hunter so we have everything literally the same.
Another question about his Hunter is, does he HAVE to complete some quests in order to unlock the "Tame Beast" ability or is he just gonna unlock it when he gets to level 13. I need answers ASAP because if its wayy different im gonna have to make a new char and do a bunch of durotart quests

everything except class specific quest are the same for both of you. I dont know about the "tame beast" ability

He has to complete a small chain for Tame Beast spell.

Yea, I realized that, it is 3 quests where he needs to tame 3 beasts. Not that time consuming. What quests are Troll Mage only?
