Frequently, usually when I change zones, I get several popups that say 'Please enter a password for CrbZ#####' the # being a seemingly random string of numbers. I can only assume at some point I tried to join a password protected chat channel, and now I constantly get the password request. Is there any way to stop this?
Are you using Carbonite / Carbonite quest helper and / or some chat addon? If so, you can go to carbonite options, go to Privacy & Com and check the 2 boxes; "Disable global channel" and "Disable zone channel". That will stop those annoying messages but you might lose some of the addon functions. Another thing you can try is to type /leave Crbz### as you would with global or any other channel and that should stop you from auto joining them again. But you gotta do that for each of those channels one by one.
Thank you! It was the Carbonite settings. I left the zone chat on so I could still get Punks notifications but disabling global helped. You're a godsend.
