Questions about donating, the queue on IC and lag

Hello all,

I am very new to the server group and am excited to see such a busy community. As a newblet I have some questions though. I am not sure if this is the correct place to ask these questions but here we go! (If this is not the correct place to post this please redirect me)

1. Made a character on Icecrown and got to level 10 quickly. I am noticing a fair bit of lag though during mob fights, seems to spike right when the mob is about to die, i get stuck in a casting animation for maybe 1-2 seconds but it happened on almost all mobs. Is this something on my end or is this something I can expect on such a populated server?

2. I hear that we can donate to skip the queue which I can see now (looking at a 2hr queue) that is a good idea. Where do I go to find the place where I can do this and what other things are offered for donors? Can we buy mounts, gold, max level characters, etc?

3. If it turns out that I don't like x7 and I don't like how difficult farming for mats is on this sever and I move to Lordaeron I see that it is listed as x1, what does that mean? Wouldn't x1 exp be still just the normal rate of exp gain?

4. Being a pvper at heart, if I was to move to Lordaeron could I expect some fun wpvp while leveling (avoiding ganks and getting in brawls here and there against like leveled toons?) and are the wotlk servers crossed together so bgs will still be quick popping and full?

5. Out of Lordaeron and IC which server will provide the most fun leveling experience? x7 is nice but if it's dead because the sever is full of max levels then that might not be very fun compared to slower leveling with more variety on another server.

6. Lastly, do you guys do character transfers? Would I be able to x7 my way through the vanilla content, and then xfer to a slower pace at BC? I am from a vanilla server and don't really need to fully experience all of the vanilla content again at it's mundanely slow pace.

Try changing game settings etc.

2. You can donate on the account panel, there is a donate section.

3. lordaeron is a blizzlike server with normal rates, so yes it would be normal.

4. There are crossrealm bg's and in my time leveling on lordaeron happened to have some wpvp going on.

5. Personally i think lordaeron has the best leveling experience.

6. As far as i know you are unable to alter the exp gain.
You will outlevel content really fast.
That said, it should not hold you from doing what you want to do.
You'll simply be a higher level.

You can't transfer characters between realms.
