i just got access to the improved vampiric embrace talent and have put 2 ranks into it.
The spell on my hotbar says it gives 25% healing to self and 5% to party, but,
The buff text in my buff area says 15% healing to self and 3% to party.
I have not been able to test if the talent is properly working as i dont want to waste money on a respec just yet.
Does anyone know or can test if the talent is giving the extra 10% to self and 2% to party?
Yes, it is working as intended.
The buff text (upper right corner default) doesn't take talents into account, they all show their default values.
It does suck cause you don't know if someone gave you improved prayer of fortitude, for example, at least not until you try and cast your own. Good thing is, weaker buffs don't (or shouldn't at least) replace the better ones. Like if some paladin gave you improved blessing of might, another without the improved talent can't replace it and make you weaker.
