Trying to log in stuck at Connected

Just moved to university and got myself setup on the universities internet at the halls but now I'm unable to login. I play on the wotlk client

It just stays at "connected" on the login screen, unable to get to the character screen for any of the wotlk servers.
I've tried deleting the WTF and Cache files, i've unchecked the read only option for the game folder, checked the realmlists in both locations but nothing.

Other games run just fine without any connectivity issues.

Any suggestions would be appreciated, thanks!
