Shadowforge lock in blackrock depths.

Yeah so, i've done the Dark Iron Legacy quest and have obtained the shadowforge key. I went to open the shadowforge lock because i have to do it in order to obtain the Engineering recipe Field Repair Bot 74A, As i went to open the shadowforge lock it doesn't let me. It just says: ''invalid target'', i've checked multiple videos and they did the same as I did and it opened. I have no clue whether this is just a bug warmane hasn't fixed or something else. Does anyone have a solution to still getting the recipe or open the lock?
