The range on his casting debuff is 30 yards. So is the range of most spells, and going on the platform does not remove the debuff...
As a mage I COULD spec into those extra 3-6 yards of range, but what about the healers?

I did Heigan a couple of times with my guild (both healing with a priest a dpsing with a mage) and never had an issue with the distance. Sure, if I stand too close to the edge of the platform or the tank pulls him forward in zone 1 or 4 i could see myself eating ths debuff. Otherwise max range works fine for most spells of my priest (i believe 40 yards is the distance of penance). Shaman/Paladin healers also healed without any problem.Quote:
