Black Screen Every Time Game Is Launched

I encountered a bug earlier tonight in game that allowed me to fly around inside of Dalaran with out being parachuted off my mount. After flying out of Dalaran it activated the parachute. What was weird was it let use the parachute and flying mount simultaneously before the game crashed. Upon closing the launcher and attempting to re-launch the game I have had a black screen every time. My cursor is shown and the log-in screen theme plays but I can't see or click anything. I even tried using the un-stuck feature to teleport my character and attempted to re-launch after that to no avail. I really don't want to have to re-download the client but I'm afraid that might be my only option. Any other suggestions? This is on Frostmourne although I doubt that matters since it appears to be a client/launcher issue.
