[H] <Xiphoid Process> - Casual PVE End Game Progression
Xiphoid Process is a casual end-game raiding guild with a steady group of core raiders. Here’s a bit about the guild to help you decide if it makes sense for you to contact an officer:
• We have a blast and joke around a good deal. If you tend to take things personal, this probably isn’t the guild for you. If you’re able to laugh if someone tricks you into jumping off loot ship when they tell you that they forgot to put it on heroic, then you’re going to fit right in.
• Attendance and performance is rewarded. However, if you’re distracted and continue to fail or never show up for raids, you could be replaced. If you think you’d take this personal, this probably isn’t the guild for you.
• If you’re able to shift between being highly focused on a progression boss, joking around on the next boss and then shift back to being highly focused on another progression boss, then this is the guild for you. We really don’t take things too seriously, but we do understand that you need to be focused if you’re going to progress.
Here are some basic requirements that will also help you decide if this is the right guild for you:
• You need to fully understand your character. That means you are expected to be fully gemmed and enchanted as appropriate, and you are expected to understand rotations and situations in which you need to shift your rotations.
• You are expected to know the mechanics for most ICC boss fights in heroic mode. We are able to help new members with some heroic encounters. If you understand all of the heroic ICC encounters then that’s a bonus.
• You need a gear score of 5,900+.
• You need to be punctual, fully prepared, and attend at least one weekend raid (ideally two) per week.
