Ideas for Having Hunters Face Target while within Auto-Shot Range?

As mentioned above, is there a way to have Hunters within auto-shot range (40yds) to face the target? The interact with button only works if hunter is outside the range or within melee range.

Say the hunter is feared and runs away with back facing the target.

I know there are alternatives such as having the hunter follow my main and then breaking following, but this relies on my main being close by.
