New Player - Login Help

Hi all,

Thanks for checking this cry for help post. I've recently downloaded warmane after hearing about it on a recent video I watched and really can't wait to play. Issue I'm having is i've downloaded wotlk 3.3.5a(wod models) and when I run the wow start up from the saved file and enter my login details I get "Disconnected from server" after a brief authenticating.

Would anyone be able to help / solve this for me - I've seen on a thread about trying to run it as XP compatibility but that doesn't to seem to work either

Even entering an incorrect password still gives me the same message

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Adding Exception in Firewall? Or Antivirus program?

try this:
1) Restart your PC
2) close your Torrent client and move your WoW folder away from your Torrent's download destination
3) now right click on WoW folder> Properties> remove "read-only"
