GM banned me 4 days for preventing a ninja loot...

So me and a friend have been playing here for 2-3 weeks now and got to 80 yesterday since we can only play on monday/tuesday due to work.. I had another account on icecrown and while i wasn't a huge donator i spent some money on gear.

Yesterday we went to Oculus and my friend who plays a holy priest died during the last boss, he's new to the game so he released spirit so he couldn't see the need/greed loot window. A warlock in our group then runs up to the chest and a spellpower trinket drops that's a huge upgrade for both of them so i told him i'd roll as well and let them re-roll after if i win because i think both of them should have a fair chance at the trinket. I win, get it in my bag and tell them to roll fairly but then the warlock gets super salty and starts saying it was his trinket because the priest released and he doesn't deserve it and the GM's would ban me.

Tried logging in today and have a 4 day ban... sent a ticket straight away after explaining what was going on but i got banned anyway..

Rules are rules, who are you to decide what is fair for you friend? Even if your friend is a new player you should have told him not to release. Warlock was 100% right for reporting you and warmane for banning you.

So exploiting in game systems to steal loot is allowed?

My Main Account is Perm Ban from Forums for "Alt of Banned User" from a goofy scenario were I got a 3d ban on the forums on a alt on Firebox then posted on my main on Google Chrome a few months ago, but I technically broke the rules.

You Tried to Enforce the Rules, but Broke them for Needing on your Character that didn't need the item.

Thing is you can be braking rules without even knowing it. I would also be pissed if I were the Warlock that you're needing on a item you don't need.

To be honest, its not allowed, thats what You did and thats why You were banned for it. Relasing before looting was Your friend's mistake and he gotta accept it and fix it next time. You had no right to roll for this item.

So everything here is according to rules, You gotta rethink and accept it.
