Hey Guys,
I read a Fishing guide and it said you should use the "Fishing Buddy" Addon, which auto-casts and auto-lures. For me this sounds a bit like botting which I think is prohibited. So I wondered if this Addon is alowed and in general, if there are Addons that are forbidden here.
Has anyone got some Infos about that?
Fishing bots are considered botting, you can check the server rules under bug exploits.

so then ill level without the addon :D
maybe a list of known addons that could be considered as bug using or botting would be useful ?
I've used Fishing Buddy before and as long as you have that "auto-lure" function off(not even sure it works, since I tried it and it didn't do anything), the only thing I think it does is let you double-rightclick for cast anyway... like addons should be fine, it's if you run an exe when it turns into botting
example ElvUI has an option for autorelease in pvp... isn't botting
all those vendor addons automatically sell your crap items to vendor when you open one... isn't botting
running myFishingBot.exe and hooking it to WoW.exe... is botting
