Hey everyone.
I am looking for TBC or WOTLK Arena-Tournament style PVP server to play on with friends. I could not figure out exactly whats going on here on Warmane community, so many different servers.
Is there a Warmane fully oriented PVP server? I am only interested to play BGs, Duels and Arenas.
Blackrock is the realm you seek, you start with full rele gear and pretty nice offset, arena/BG ready, all pve content is disabled. Legend says that warmanes best pvpers are there... (chuckle)

Bgs and arenas on warmane are crossrealm (wotlk) meaning you face players from across all wotlk realms.
Cross-realm on realms that are differently balanced is such a silly idea...but hey faster queues or whatever
How big is the gear factor between Blackrock players and players from other servers with full pay 2 win PVE gear? Would not really want to fight endless unfair uphill battle.
Well, that shouldn't be an issue to you since on Blackrock you get free gear basically, compared to other realms. So, it's kinda silly to talk about fairness in this case, plus the server is very old, lot of geared ppl who earned their gear one way or another. And it's not pay to win, since all gear is obtainable...pay to win would be if you can get something you can only buy with money that would be better than anything ingame, giving you advantage over others
What i ment was. How big is the difference if any, between BiS geared Blackrock player and a BiS geared player from other server?
To summarize my dilemma. If at the end i manage to obtain BiS gear in Blackrock, will i be outgeared by other people from different servers?
yes, you 'll be. Blackrock have a small list of item, on others servers you have acces to all item.Quote:

That person is either trolling you or just dumb. Getting BIS gear on Blacrock (which is rather fast and easy except possibly obtaining Shadowmourne) will equal to the exact same gear as a bis person on any of the other servers. In fact, Blackrock is by far the fastest/smoothest way to get into the PVP scene on Warmane.Quote:

i'm not trolling. In one hand you have a limit acces of ressource due to acces of item dev want to be in rotation of this season. On other hand on icecrown you have acces to all items, buffs, tricky stuff, bomb as you can craft,..... + shop. In this server you have everytime raids, dungeon, very active.Quote:

On blackrock to gain one hight pve item in a list you have to gain around 2k arena point + 1k5, 1k7 ,2k mmr depend of items. Of course if you play warrior, pala, uhdk you are fine. But try to play an "exotic" spe. You 'll struggle.
