There was a fight in a cave, me and a paladin vs a draenei shaman over a titanium node. But our attacks did NOTHING to him.

360 damage CRIT with ambush?? Then only 500 damage with 3 eviscerates???
I understand resilience is a thing but if its this severe, whats the point of even playing a rogue in pvp?
Please include the "damage who" so we could se his gear on armory.
Also how many combo points did you have when you did Eviscerate? Since you only se 3 Ambushes on recount.
In addition it was probably holy pala, so with a lot of luck he could reduce damage of each of his skills by half with Blessed Life talent.Quote:

Could be massive PvP gear difference, combined with defensive CD's and pots.
Don't forget the Stoneclaw totem glyph. It absorbs around 5k and depending on your view in recount it may or may not show in dmg done. Combine that with another absorb trinket, decent shield with a lot of armor, resil...
Some of the replies are kinda confusing. Maybe I'm just stupid, but didn't he fight alongside a Paladin against a Shaman? Why are people talking about Divine Protection and a Holy Paladin?
I'm not an expert on Shamans, but what kind of defensives would they use to basically take 0 damage from 3(!!) Eviscerates and 3 critical(!!) Ambush hits? Also 9x Wound Poison VII and 14 melee attacks totalling 771 damage done? That surely seems weird to me, even if the Shaman had proper PvP gear. It's Frostmourne, they don't have endgame gear yet if I'm not mistaken.
Granted, a Combat Log would help alot here.

This have happened to me on 3 different occations recently.
Another thing, there might have been a player you didnt se, like Priest throwing pain suppresion, paladin throwing hand of sacrifise, Indeed a Combat log would clear up any questionmarks about this, Recount really don't proove much on it's own.
Recount bug or you used low rank ambush if you set your Shadow Dance bars with rank 1 spell
