Do i need retial wow to play ?

Ok so i have retail wow (So i have wow in the blizzard launcher) and Wotlk. So i was wondering if i can uninstall retail and have Wotlk still work?

yes, you can.

Wotlk is just a folder. As long as you do not delete files inside the folder, you are fine
