Casting spells through textures

I came to play on this server just a month ago. And when I first got to the battlefield, I was just in shock.
Players can cast spells through textures! Karl!!! How can this be allowed at all ?! I propose to do something about it. Firstly, this is a bug, secondly, it introduces a serious imbalance in the gameplay, and also gives an undeniable advantage to players dealing damage at a distance in front of melee players.

Melee players also deal damage through textures. Here, for some reason, this is considered normal, although obviously it should not be so.
Even if it is "blizzlike", it does not mean that such things are normal. It introduces a catastrophic imbalance, but it doesn't fix it FOR YEARS.
I also think that this requires fix
