I am wondering what i can do about the harrassment.

Hi, i am a small time streamer who gets a lot of harrassment because i gank people then link them my twitch.tv on my alternate faction account.

I am currently banned for 2 days for apparent 'racism' after i had 1 guy log over 100 level 55 dk's across his multiple accounts to whisper me abuse and hate, after filling my ignore list, i had to clear it to ignore more of his characters.

I COULD HAVE reported this guy for harrassment, but i dont want to be spending hours upon hours taking screenshots and providing proof for the warmane staff to tell me 'we will investigate' then the next day i have the same DK's logging in and harrassing me. (this is exactly what happens, i have reported this person twice already and nothing has happened)

So instead of flooding my ignore list, any time i choose to take the bait and chat to the guy, all he does is waits for me to say a swear word, or anything unsavoury, then he will tell me that he has printscreened and reported me. so after 5 hours of this guy calling me a dirty ****ing ******, i ask him if he is balkan, and he print screens it and I AM THE ONE who gets banned : /

i just dont want to play the game with a permanent open ticket filling my screen, i dont want to play the game and be walking on egg shells around people who are calling me a ****ing ****** and a ****ing ****** and all kinds of insults because they see my face on stream, because the one time i reply to them they act shook and make a ticket about me being the biggest villian on warmane. it just sucks, i dont get mad when people talk **** about my skin colour, i am happy to talk **** back to them and have banter, but i seem to get banned for nothing : /

I just dont know what to do.

As we speak my main account is banned and i am unable to make a ban appeal because my support and forum account has been locked.
I know the person who is harrassing me, but i wont put his name here.
I cant appeal the ban because i cant make a ticket on that account.
And i cant make a support ticket on an alt account because that account has no ban history.

Any suggestions?

GMs don't issue bans for swear words, "anything unsavory" or asking someone's nationality - especially not a ban for racism. For you to have earned such a ban there's more to this story than you're letting on.

By the same token, they don't reply to reports of actual racism with "we will investigate" and then nothing happens - you're proof of that. Which one is it anyway? You start saying it's harassment, then you turn into this player being racist... yet, despite seeing that such reports result in bans, you still say you won't do it. Quite confusing.

Even further, Smyth doesn't ban players from accessing Support for minor, one-time things - he has quite a bit of patience and it takes effort for him to do that. Being banned from Support probably counts against your credibility.



So, suggestions? Wait for the ban to be over, don't do something to get banned again ("joking" about anything bannable will get you banned the same, by the way, so keep that in mind in your "banter"), and report this player when it happens again, if you really can have any evidence of harassment or racism. It might be a hard case when it kinda feels like you harassed him with ganking and are just dealing with the consequences, though.
