Issue for login game for a mac client

I am new, just download Wotlk Mac client from here, but when I login in game, it appears

"unable to validate game version, this may be caused by file corruption or the interference of another program"

although from the guide of client download, if I download from warmane website is not necessary to change realmlist , but I still check wow file, I could not find realmlist in anywhere, not in the main folder, not in date/enus, there are only few files in the main folder, background downloader, data, interface, wow.app, wow launcher, WTF, logs, cache

it seems like this is a uncompleted client

can anyone help me about this?

what mac os you have?

Having similar issuse as the OP but says "this file can not be opened" I'm on mac os 10.13.2. Is there a certain os that you need?

1. the guide which is not the same issue of me, I can open app to the login window, just cant login, and also I tried the solution as well, it was the same of
"unable to validate game version, this may be caused by file corruption or the interference of another program"
2. download app relacement file and replaced it, when I tried to open it "failed to open archive interface.mpq"

I think my client is not a completed client,

anyone can help?

Did you try to look for a solution on google?
I have found https://www.techsupportforum.com/thr...-error.409822/ (but I do not know if this solution may work for you )
