Plain and simple, people are leaving 2v2 arena game before the gates are opened. They get 1 lose for it, but the other team DOESNT get a win, just wasted more then 1 minute of time. It happens all the time, i doubt devs dont know about this.
To stop this exploit, i suggest you dont get 1 lose if you leave arena before getas are opened.
To stop this from happening you suggest that the penalty for doing it is removed? Am I understanding this right?
I'm not sure how this is considered as an exploit, but i believe the other team don't get the wins because THAT can be exploited. Also i believe that after you reach certain point in your raiting you will stop meeting those leaving teams as they hardly ever get a win
How would removing the only penalty for leaving that people receive somehow change it and make them not leave?
As someone who has left some arenas on the first sight of the 6.6 SM warrior, maybe a solution can be if you leave you get a deserter buff, so you don't leave in rolls.Quote:

The 1 loss isn’t a penalty for them. They are doing it to get 10 quick loses for weekly points. But the opponents are just losing time without getting a win, the game is not even registered for them.
The penalty isn't aimed at them, and wouldn't be removed because it affect everyone, not just them.
Don't think that's legal. I got a 5 Day Ban for MMR Dropping on my 1K GS Chars when I left my 10 Games for the Week. Think you have to play them even if your going to get 1 Shotted but then again that could be Win Trading so dunnoQuote:

This is no way an exploit. It was allowed on retail and many were using macros to flush 10 games on alts without even entering arena.

Most players at 1400 mmr are there for 10 weekly games and leave before arena begins.
This means you have to leave the arena first unless you want to waste hours finding 10 games.
If you stay and play vs players who have 2000+ more gs you are essentially wintrading.
This system forces you to leave the game before it begins. It makes no sense to punish for it.
And it’s not about that I don’t get the wins, it’s about that they get the lose and that its motivating them to do it again and again.
I know this is old, I'm bumping it to mention that I've queued for over 25 matches tonight and had I think 4 actual battles. Wasted 30 minutes of my night with blackrock people abandoning arena games.
