How do you join a raid? On average, do you have to have a high gear level or are there casual raids too? Any raids you can solo at 80? Anyway just trying to figure out how the raiding system in this server works

If you want good raiding, join a guild.
Pugs are usually cancer when requirements are looked at, either demanding way too high gear or achievements you might not have yet.
Rarely, there's alt runs that do a few bosses so you might jump on those.
On lvl 80 you can solo lvl 60 raids if you're a plate class or a tank.
