battle ground queue, honor rewards

hi!

I been reading post about battleground and i found out that ppl have almost instant queue, so my concern is why i w8 an eternity and still dont end up joining, is it only for lvl 80 char that instatnt queue? i am new so the highest character that i have is 75 pally, and other characters on different lvl bracket but dont find any joining in any of them.

about old pvp gear, i wonder if it can be adjusted to match cata honor price? i think old gear is too high for the amount of honor on low lvl and lack of queue on my experience?

plz someone hlp me know whats going on?

Nobody plays BGs on low levels and that's why your BG que never pops. BG queue on lvl 80 is, as you read, nearly instant.
I doubt old PvP gear will be adjusted since, as I already said, nobody on low levels plays BGs so they would be tuning honor prices for 10 people that do. Old gear is mainly used for transmog by lvl 80s.
