Step2: Click on Category Chat > Untick 'Say', 'Emote', 'Yell', 'Whisper', 'Real ID Whisper', 'Party', 'Party Leader', 'Raid', 'Raid Leader', 'Battleground' & 'Battleground Leader'.

Let me help you fix it:

Step 1: Delete WoW
Step 2: Only play single player games from now on, and don't visit their associated forums.

I agree with the OP to be honest. For example you will see your experience in battlegrounds greatly improved if you disable battleground chat.
