Best race/class combination

Hi I'm new to WoW and Warmane, wanna play Lordaeron and don't know which race and class I should play. I wanna play alliance BTW.

Just play whatever you feel like. It is more important to enjoy the game rather than commit to something you will hate or not feel like playing.

If you want to hit max level and then go camp lvl 20s in south shore play human paladin.

If you want to be 500 IQ in battle grounds play nelf hunt/druid

If you want to do PvE or just any kind of raid, roll horde.

For PVP, I say play Human paladin, as people seem to get very butthurt by them

For PVE, Draenei shaman is a good choice as shamans are always needed plus the nice 1% hit chance racial for yourself and your party
