Explosive Shot being blocked by classes and deterrenced by other hunters.

Hey,

I figured out since I starter playing on warmane that Survival felt weak and strange. Then it hit me, warriors, paladins are blocking explosive shot and other hunters are deterrencing explosive shot while this shouldn't happen. Whole purpose of Survival is to be anti plate/shield spec for hunters. Think of it as hunters "affliction spec"

No. Deterrence should stop all ranged and melee attacks from all directions. If explosive shot is applied on the hunter before the hunter deterencing, it shouldn't stop the ticking dmg. This same rule goes for every single dot in the game. If you activate deterrence when, lets say corruption, is already landed on you, it shouldn't stop the tick dmg like it doesn't stop any other dot dmg from ticking.

I'm atm looking for old videos for evidence of this being a unique mechanic on warmane. I have clear memories of deterrence working in all directions unlike on warmane where you have to face your target. This is not blizz like.
