I want to roll a paladin, and for leveling I wanna do frequent rdfs as a tank. the problem is, I don't know what to do since i have never played a paladin before. Can anyone please guide me on how to tank as a paladin for rdfs (lvl 15-80),what rotation to follow and abilities to use, and what talents to pick up. If there's any guide, I'll appreciate a link to it. Thanks

On 60 when reset talents in prot spec : Its base trick/priority skills :
Becaus you reset talents and now dont have Seal of Comand , you start use Seal of Righteousness until get back :)
You can switch Glyph of seal comand for glyph Hammer of the Righteous for beter aoe agrro .
1. use Holy Shield before pull .
2. Folow Hand Of reconing + Avengers Shieald ( keep it if monster are caster to silence them )
3. Judgement
4. Hammer of the Righteous
5.. Concecration
Tips:
* Lay of Hands can be use to reg som mana for healer
* Hand of Sacrifice can be use to protect party member
*Use Cleans on self to remove MOST slows/roots if stay in slow POOL use Hand of Freedom
* Use Hand of Protection to save AOE Caster dps (mage/bomie ) before stable agrro or for healer
* Hand of Protection remove bleed effect
* on low lvl use retribution aura after improve Devotion switch on it .
* dont forget turn on Righteous Fury :D

Here's what the common talents look like at 78, the other 2 points tend to float around. Also quite a few people drop Seal of Command and move its point into Conviction so they can just camp seal of vengeance for the permanent expertise uptime.

I hit 80 yesterday on my second paladin, this time I did the same as you. RDF as protection all the way to 80. So I have everything in fresh memory that's written below.
10-14 max out Deflection
15-16 max out Imp. Judgement
17-19 max out Heart of the Crusader
20 - Seal of Command
Get Seal of Command glyph and start queuing dungeons as tank. Don’t forget to buff yourself with Righteous Defense for your added threat!
Rotation Judgement of wisdom > Consecration, as previously mentioned.
21-24 - 4/5 Conviction
25-27 max out Crusade
28-29 - 2/3 Sancticity of Battle
30 - Sanctified Retribution
31 max out Sancticity of Battle
32 max out Conviction
33-34 max out Vindication

When you hit level 38, train Seal of Wisdom and respec into this https://wotlkdb.com/?talent#sZV0xA0uGb:k (notice glyph change) and start using Seal of Wisdom with judge of wisdom. You now have infinite mana. Something that is simply joyful to play with, and makes for smooth runs when leading dungeons. People are gonna love you for not drinking 24/7. Off-heal party when healer drinks and help with ressurections. In my journey to 71, when I switched to Seal of Vengeance, no one consistently pulled aggro or out-dps'd me because I used the mana seal. Not even players with heirloom weapons. Probably because I took 3/5 reckoning.
From here on to 80, put the rest of your points in the prot tree down to Hammer of Righteousness as fast as possible, and then in the ret tree until your spec looks like this. https://wotlkdb.com/?talent#sZV0xA0uGusIufzxf0x0c:kN (note added glyph)
The two remaining points are up to you. Run speed is nice.
My two cents on Divine Guardian vs Reckoning:
It's 20% damage reduce on a 2 min cooldown vs Reckoning. The party while leveling will never be in danger from AoE, since the dungeons are of trivial difficulty, and you don’t have Sacred Shield until 80. So taking the talent would be entirely for you to get a 6 second 20% mitigation cooldown. This is not needed. I haven't done math because how would that be empirical, but I'm certain that the accumulated extra damage done by Reckoning between levels 37-80 will outweigh the time saved from not wiping/saving healer mana because you had that 2 min -20% dmg cd.
Reckoning will also make your time outside of dungeons easier and faster. You will have to quest some because the queue in Outland and Northrend isn’t instant like it for the most part is in Vanilla. Plus,the gear is worth it in Outland, and downright needed in Northrend else you get thrashed by trash, healer goes oom or leaves, you suck, and everyone hates you. So you gotta quest for gear in Northrend (or buy from auction house). Pull as many mobs as possible and aoe grind with Seal of Light.
Switch from Seal of Wisdom to Seal of Vengeance in dungeons at lvl 71 when you get Divine Plea.
Notes:
If you level with 7-10x experience, you might still have some Vanilla gear items when you hit Northrend. This was my case, and it was a slight disaster. Because of the low armor, I took death knight levels of damage without having the self-healing. Do recommend questing in Northrend and/or auction house shopping for Northrend plate items before joining dungeons if this is the case for you as well. Or befriend a healer who don't mind running out of mana every other trash pull and likes the action.
Since we're aoe tanking all the way to 80, we might wonder how come no Consecration glyph. It's is because playing in pickup groups is chaotic. People will ninjapull, bodypull, aggro and dps things you aren’t tanking. You will reposition a lot. Therefore, you want your consecration off of cooldown as much as possible so you can drop it wherever it's needed, when it's needed, as much as possible.
My best tip is never ever assume your group has brains. It’s 100% up to you to make the run safe and smooth. Don’t try and skip anything. That pet WILL pull. Some player WILL run slow and pull the patrol. Or run too close to a mob. Always assume this. This rule of thumb will save you wipes, headaches, bad rep as a tank, people leaving/group disbanding and time wasted.
Pro tip: If you see mage/warlock/hunter/paladin blizzard/rain of fire, etc aoe, pull the mobs into their aoe. Mana is too tight to recast aoe spells all the time while leveling, and you lose group dps. Tank stuff in dps' aoe. I see far too many tanks not considering this, so make sure you do. The dps will thank you for it.
Last note is everone's experience is different. You and I are different as players and will therefore have different experiences. Plus, we will have different people in our pugs. What worked for me might therefore not workfor you. You may group with IQ sandwiches all the way to 80 and really need those -20% cooldown/Vindication talents. Or maybe you meet so many gods that you need Seal of Command all the way to 60. Who knows. But on average, what I wrote here should work for everyone.

On the actual topic for OP,
The best way to do it to just actually tank as you level. When you start you are only given a small amount of utility and learning to use the new abilities as you get them is the easiest way to learn. I think somewhere between 15-20 is where you actually get your taunt so it is advised to start tanking when you get it because before that all you have is judgement and con. It is extremely easy to tank at low levels and you will learn / actually use the extra utility as you level. 60-80 is when you will actually need to read guides for your rotation which isn't that hard either. For tank and spank fights there is even a all-in-one macro you can use for your rotation lol. Don't use the macro in serious fights though. When you get divine plea, I advise you to glyph it and start using it before every pull. As long as you take damage you will get mana regen.
If you start to have aggro problems at lvl 80 and you aren't hit capped, get hit capped.
