HELP! It's been awhile...

First of all, a big Hello! to everyone in the community. As a member of Molten-WoW Originally (Since 2017) i have finally got a pc again and got back in touch with my old community and game. Which is awesome.

I've done some research and from what i could see, characters from Molten orignally were transferred across and not lost. However i've logged into my existing account from way back to discover that no characters exist. Can someone answer this question for me, has there been a total character wipe since, or on the merge. Would love to see if there would ever be a possible change at recovering those characters as they had thousands of hours played.

if you started on 2017, it was already Warmane and not Molten anymore.

That said , on which realm were you playing?
"Cataclysm" realms? (due the name of this thread). In that case those realms have been closed

First "warsong" relam got closed on those character moved to "Neltharion".
Then "Neltharion" got closed as well -> characters got "freezed" (in case they decided to open the realm again)
Meanwhile we had 1 years of time to "copy" cataclysm characters on Wotlk/MoP realms but it is no longer possible.
