What changes if I change my race?

Hello,

When I change my undead priest too human priest. What will actually change? Is there a risk of something getting bugged? What about my achievements?

I really need to be ensured nothing goes wrong during this transition. Please let me know if you guys have some advice or things you stumbled upon yourself doing this. Please share!

Everything should convert normally, but in reality that's not the case. I remember when I switched from Blood Elf -> Orc I lost like 2k reputation with some faction, forgot which it was. Also I read that a dude had his Sons of Hodir bug out after faction change.
