Stoneskin Gargoyle

Now this may be a dumb question and maybe there are stats on the enchant I'm not seeing but my DK is currently sitting at 560 def (cap 530) and with stoneskin gargoyle really only giving me 2% stam at this point, would it not be more beneficial to run Spellbreaking or Swordshattering as the 4% spell reflection/parry or even Fallen Crusader for the str and heal would be better, no? I'm just genuinely curious and just want to be the best tank I can be. Thanks so much!

edit: I do now see that you got 1% dodge and 1% parry from the 25 def but is it still better?

"Nothing new under the sun". This exp. of wow is so old, all numbers, strategy's, and best of.. is alredy found, ofc slightly deference here and there but all is on internet full of guides. On your question ( THIS IS MY OPINION AND DOESNT MEAN IS THE CORRECT ONE!!) Rune of the Stoneskin Gargoyle give you: Avoidance and stamina and the point why is better in some case form other two runes Spellshattering and Swordshattering is: not only stamina but DEFENSE- not rating but raw defense. This mean : This stats doesnt have DR ( diminishing return ) this make them stay on you whatever!! + "This enchant actually provides an additional 1% in avoidance regarding spell damage which would bring up to 3% melee avoidance and 1% spell avoidance along with the 2% stamina increase." So total count is 1% Dodge, 1 % Parry, 1% Decreases chance to not get hit with both melle or spell attack witch count as 2% + 2 % total stamina (works like blessing of king ).

Thank you so much! I figured there had to be underlying stats that I didn't know about! The stoneskin gives you total avoidance where either of the other 2 would only give one type. Thank you for taking the time qith such a detailed response! 😀

Just to add something important you miss : "This stats doesnt have DR ( diminishing return ) this make them stay on you whatever!!"" - on theory you can dodge and parry or miss on you whatever the first roll on dice or next or next etc etc.
