I cant get xp when im in party

so i used to lvl up characters with my main account party and set follow my second account. killing mobs until reach to dungeon level and power level and bla bla...

i did like 10 times works like that in horde until i recently ( few weeks ago) transformed to ally and now im so mad because i CANT GET ANY XP FOR MY HERO WHEN I AM IN PARTY!

1- Is it a bug or Warmane change recently ( i searched forum find none ) ?

2- maybe i got bug because i changed my faction and my hero still is a horde for system xd

3- i really hope that would not be a system change because using power of your character to empower the other is actually part of RPG stuff. you play more you get more power you use the power, That's it!

BTW power leveling is a bless for private servers :D
i never able to do that in retail because 100% its not worth for spending 50$ for making second account.

Are you sure you didn't lock your experience?

AFAIK that was fixed a very long time ago. It's clearly abusive that you can level up just by running around after a lvl80 character and put that same leveled up character on trade. Don't expect it to come back.

Power leveling was fixed way back if that's what you meant by not gaining XP. If NPCs are skull level you gain nothing.

Bro i am not a foking dummy random player i played this game a lot. this patch + lot of retail. i completely know if some add has 9 lvl more than you has no xp its obv.... the problem is i create lvl 1 fresh hero and then when i join party i get 0 xp from lvl 1 mob in the starting zone! this is obv a bug right? i checked xp lock aswell

Do you get 0 xp while in party even if your partners are close to your level? (and not lvl 80)

I have encountered that bug? some months ago its not even in party if u tag a mob while out of party with your low level character even if u leave the mob on 1% and u kill it with your 80 lvl u still wont get xp if you go in dungeon in party you gonna get laaaaay less xp than used to be like 1 year ago

Ok i guess i found my answer.... this thing ( some call game ) is not RPG anymore and dead already..... well i am depressed and sad now. tnx Warmane

Your low level character won't get any exp from normal enemies but it will get plenty of exp from elites. Just do some quests in the starting zone to get to level 10 then you can start power leveling your alt through dungeons. I did it today to level a druid. Went in as level 10, came out as level 16. Then I did Stockades twice without quests, third time with quests and got to level 28. Went to Scarlet Monastery for 28-40 leveling, then I did Zulfarrak till 48, then one run of Blackrock Depths which got me to 54 and one run of Blackrock Spire to get to 58.

But I don't think I'll be doing it again, just wanted to have that druid as a tailoring alt on a second account so I can bypass absurd crafting times for items that others are bypassing too. I can play on my main while the druid is crafting items that will get disenchanted so effective time spent on it is nothing since it happens in the background while I'm doing something I actually enjoy.
