Subtlety Rogue PvP without any ArP

Hey everyone,

Ive been a rogue pvp player for over a decade now and have always played with ArP offset + AP gems (40% ArP). I also was always into duels (how to win vs each class, RvR, u name it)
Now since Im not really into raiding and started playing on Lordaeron for the challenge, I wonder if Sub with pure AP is a thing.

Does it really fall that behind to 30-40% ArP sub? Was there ever any testing to this problem?
I know there are a lot of posts about ArP vs. AP, but my specific question is, can I just dont care about ArP in the first place and deal with plates/mail with full AP + bleeds?

Better go with some arp, it will be needed. Of course you have expose armor thing but that little bit will help. Some people play pvp with full pve 100% armor penetration combo which will oneshot most of the things out there, or combat rouge with 1 button killing thing.

As for the subtletly, basic concept of killing a plate user is to utilize stun-lock as much as you can. So no bleeds on the target, no damage-over time poisons and just slow killing. Stealth -> attack -> stealth and repeat. This way the target will surely die and this is the way for plate users.
