I have no desire to get political, but in light of recent events I'm curious. I heard back in the day the server was hosted in Russia. I just saw an announcement that Russia was considering disconnecting from the rest of the internet presumably in light of recent sanctions and what's going on with Ukraine.
If this is true, would this affect the server?
Server is not located in Russia.
The server is hosted in france. As for the ownership,afaik yes.
There is nothing Russian about this server, as far as I know.
I wouldn't want to get political either, but the website seems to have blocked my Ukrainian IP recently. The server still works, thankfully. (I just came here to check when the next FRESH comes out, hopefully in April? Unless WW3, of course.)
The realms (logon.warmane.com) is hosted in France. I don't know about the website though because of cloudflare(I'm a noob sry). The biggest threat to this server is still probably blizzard.
