I accidentally made a character on non Lordaeron server, then deleted, moved to Lordaeron and wanted to reuse the name. Since yesterday evening it keeps saying that it's already taken. How long should I wait so it clears up?
I found some threads regarding waiting 30 days to free up the name. True? Can I use a different random name and then restore my original desired name somehow?
Taking a name on one realm does not make it unavailable on another realm. If you can't take that name on Lordaeron, it means someone else already has it on Lordaeron. And names are available immediately after deleting a character so if you wanted to create a new character on the other realm where you deleted it, you should be able to get the name there again.
