When you join a raid, sometimes the raid leader wants to inspect your gear, so he forces you to dalaran and only then can you go to the raid.
Why dont they just use the armory on this website? Its better for the raid leader because they dont need the guy to go to them and also they see more info on the character himself, and the raider doesnt need to unnecessarily fly to to him.
How are people here supposed to know why some raid leader does things the way he does?
Probably because there's no client-armory interaction integrated, as it's not possible with the client. Alt tabbing and manually entering some weird-*** names to website is kinda bothersome. Also, if the player doesn't understand what inspection is and where it's done, maybe it's better to find somebody else to fill the spot.
First of all, the char page on the armory causes fps drops in game if you forget it opened in your browser. Second, there's some enchants the armory doesn't display. Third, the argument about weird-*** names. Fourth, you realize there's multiple ways to dalaran right? Stop complaining or just host your own raid.
