Can druids Herb in Flight Form

I can't find a definitive answer on google, can Driuids in WOTLK herb in flight form without leaving it? I don't have a char to test it on.

Yes, druids CAN farm herbs while in flight form.

If we attempt to farm veins, then the game shapeshifts us out from our bird form, however it's still pretty good to have a druid miner as we can instantly go back in flight form after getting the minerals. All other classes need to use their regular mounts, and the "mounting-up" CD could give their mining competitors a small advantage over them.

Druids can collect herbs while in any form, but they cant collect herbs while flying.

This means that we CAN collect the herbs in flight form, but we must be on the floor to do it.

Being on the floor will cause any nearby enemies to attack you. Druids have the added benefit of being able to cast Natures Grasp mid air and then go back into bird form then pull any nearby enemies away from the herb and root them with Natures Grasp so they can collect the herb without having to kill the nearby enemies.
