I have merc mode disabled and 3rd bg in a row i'm being put on horde side. Was there some unannounced change to how the system works?
You need to log out (or maybe even exit game) for it to take effect. If it doesn't work, exit, wait a few minutes, then try again.
I had merc mode disabled for a very long time and never gotten a single horde bg before. I tried re disabling it ~30 min ago and it just put me on a horde team again.Quote:

I asked about the issue and it turns out we're currently forcing mercenary mode on Blackrock when the queue times are too long.
Due to slow queue times on all our realms for alliance we've decided to enable mercenary mode for blackrock.
This has drasticly improved the queue times from +10 min down to 30 sec last time we measured
