Setting reset themselves EVERYTIME I log off !

So really I guess that I shuold have addressed this thing eons ago
but i finally got sick of it!

everytime i log on to the game (opening wow.exe is more accurate), i have to set up all my settings all over again !

Video settings (resolution and effects)
sound setting (I don't have enough rage and energy ETC (irl aswell)

like everything all over again!

i don't really have much idea why this happens, many something to do with cache files ? really clueless

and ALSO something of the same importance !
anyone uses QuickHeal addon here?
really its the only playable addon IMO, but its buggy and wont operate in this expansion. (I do use other addons that work perfectly)

Go to your wow folder > WTF > Config - Properties. and uncheck the read only box. Apply and Ok.
This should fix your problem

I have Config.wtf in my WTF folder, when I open it it only says SET locale "enUS"
SET gxWindow "1"

He didn't tell you to open it. Just to uncheck the "read only" attribute of the file.
