I just want to make sure before I donate, do I still get to make a DK without the 55 requirement or is that an old feature? Does this also apply on the Lordaeron realm as well? I only ask because it doesn't say so on the donation window.

If you donate then yes, you can create a Death Knight on Lordaeron without having another character of level 55.
