Server status after Classic WOTLK launch

Hello,

I have been playing this server for years, I don't know how long it's been but definitely long before the moltdown happened 7 years ago, and like me there are many other players.

Although numbers have obviously not have gone too down since Blizzard launched WotLK classic, I am still afraid of the actual status of the server as an entity.

Will there be any attempts of Blizzard trying to come after the server since it is now a legitimate competitor?

What I can't understand is why you, people, think that Blizzard does not and has not tried to get rid of this server.
Not the whole world is living under American laws, Blizzard has zero legal power to influence servers located in foreign countries.
