Come back to wow after probably 6-7years

Hello guys,

i started playing wow again. I used to have account on this server(unfortunately i forgot my account password). Anyways created a new account, and put the same name of charr i used to have.. Name was created normally, but as i started playing occasionally i got log out of the server saying that this charr name already exist. This makes me wondering is my old account still in function and can i get it somehow back?
Maybe for administrators i can provide few more info if needed,

"Character with that name already exists" is the message you receieve once you try to log back in quickly after you were suddenly disconnected, because your character stays in the game world for about 1 minute when that happens (for example when your net crashes). Basically you're trying to enter the game world when there'd be two versions of your character. It has nothing to do with your old account or character.
