You find all the others who are in the same boat, make your own guild and raid until you vomit.

Well, there is no other option
You can get to around 5.5 with BoEs, EoT gear and ashen verdict rep. Points also help a lot - buy trinkets/weapon/shield/offhand ilvl 239.
It might be easier to find a group for ICC 10/25 just before raid ID reset - even with as low as 5K. On alliance side I also see some alt runs asking for like 5.3K+.
For ToC and Onyxia PuGs you can 100% use UnderAchiever - 90% of the time nobody checks if you actually have the achi.
