Is it good for Feral Druids to switch caster weapon for the heals?

I've seen several feral druids use the weapon switching thing for their instant heals. One time a regular ret pala critted a holy light on me for 14k in a BG. I was thinking maybe if it's good for a pala, it's good for druids too? Then again druids have that extra heals from agility thing so maybe it isn't that good??

The druid I saw used Nibelung for the heals and I thought it was funny since he had a bunch of valkyr following him around.

If it's good, what is the best weapon for feral druids to use for those heals? Better a staff or MH+OH?

Regular ret pala gets sp from atkpower and its good, its normal for them, you on the other, as cat pve, dont get that talent which scales healing with agility. Just dps and let others heal, your heal shouldnt be needed, maxi you can do is to throw a tranquility in worst case. A raid is doomed to hell if that raid needs feral healing support.
