Hunters and rogues are one shotting ppl

Is it my or hunters and rogues are way to powerful? This isnt the wotlk i remember, i guess they scale better with gear than other classes but still that doesnt erradicate the problem. The fact is that rogues and hunters are way to powerfull atm in pvp combat and pve, without having a legendary weapon, this is just wrong and should be addressed for the shake of balance and future of the server. I have donated more than 350 euro in this server and when i play after 5 mins i want to shut the game off. Because of hunters and rogues being extremmely powerful. I cant even get close to a hunter to deal dmg i die at range fast. i have 1100+ res yet they cut me like butter. This is just wrong. IDC what gatekeepers say i speak the truth and my intentions are pure and not vile.

If your intentions are pure....

you would have stated what class you play and asked for ways to help get around this. You would also provide an armory link, I mean sure any lvl 80 can 1 tap a lvl 60 twink just saying.

Instead you come up with a passive aggressive way to tell everyone about your whaling experience and how that has not baught you a counter to rogue and hunter so their for becouse you spent money now wow must be changed for you....


Play Fmage. Use ice barrier, cast level 1 frost bolt to apply slow.....and legit walk the f up on the hunter so he cant do ****, when he disengages blink on him like a cow jumps on fresh cut hay frost nova... and stand in his face yelling WTF YOU GONNA DO MF!.....

as for rogues... Manage your cds.....and for the love of god like 99% of players.... stop trinketing kidney shot just to get put into a full blind and put on a rotation where you cant do **** about it!

People have been min-maxing WotLK content for almost 15 years now, it's bound to be different. Players just found out that rolling rogue/hunter with full BiS PvE gear (optimized for PvP) does a ton of damage. It only took one guy to try it and show off how good it was for everyone else to jump on the bandwagon, so just like we had an overflow of PvE mages we now have an overflow of PvE hunters/rogues in battlegrounds.

On the plus side, they're all glass cannons. So if you can CC them they're as good as dead.

You might wonder: "Why does it do so much damage?"

It's because they play it full PvE with 100% ArP which just destroys any cloth that dares to come in their range.

You can see it if you study the extreme cases:
A BiS PvP Mage in Frost Armor has about 5.8k (about 28% physical dmg reduction)
A BiS PvP Prot Paladin sits around 26k (about 63% physical dmg reduction)

Cloths take the short straw in the armor pen calculation:

Reduced Armor = Armor - Arp%(min(Armor, (Armor + C)/3)), with C=15232.5

Where min(Armor, (Armor + C)/3) just selects the lowest of the two values, for cloth wearers this will always be their armor, which means (at 100% ArP):
Reduced Armor = Armor - 1*(Armor) = 0, so you have 0% physical damage reduction.

For a plate wearer, (Armor + C)/3 will most likely always be lower than their Armor so you have:
Reduced Armor = Armor - 1*((Armor + C)/3), which for the pala means his reduced armor is about 12k (about a mail armor wearer), therefore the pala has some residual physical damage reduction (roughly guessed around the 45% range).

Rogues can skew the results by using Expose Armor in their opener and cause plates to take even more damage since sunders apply a flat rate on the starting armor.

So in case you wear cloth have fun only relying on that resil, it won't matter one bit when they have all their procs going for them.

On a side note, this is also why you see people use Whispering Fang Skull where people usually opted for Deathbringer's Will -> most of the time they face plate wearers.

Make a rogue and/or hunter too.

First it was Unhole Death Knights who were too weak (https://forum.warmane.com/showthread.php?t=458034)... now it's Hunters and Rogues who are too strong? And with posts using even the same wording, except lacking any sort of data or evidence comparing anything? I'm not sure anymore if you just want to stir something up or if the trouble is in fact with you and not any class.

Just the reality of wotlk pvp (mostly battlegrounds), allowing people to use 100% PvE equipment without any downscale in PvP environment. It's normal get get nuked by such classes and your resilience doesn't really mitigate much of that ridiculous output they do.

The evidance is that an 39 yo WoW veteran that has played every single expansion blizz made and had much more fun in retail than in warmane even that i have donated 350 euro to your server, Thats the fact and that is wrong, Sir, free 2 play hunters rekt me in seconds just because they scale better on high end gear. I am not talking about PvE gear but PvP one yes they scale a lot better and this should be addressed. And before you start getting personal with me tracking every single post i make trying to prove that i am a crying noob kid, i challenge you, take a dk or a ret palla or a mage make him 6450gs like mine and go join BG or try to duel top hunters of the server and you will understand what is right and what is wrong.

Yes my intentions are pure because i describe what i experience, and what others exprience in my place only that others just quit, i care more for this server so i make a post about it to disscuss it peacefully just in case management cares also to improve their servers and keep more ppl. The fact is that PvP is full with hunters and rogues abusing high end game trinkets and gear to get that 1-2 shot fast. When the melee are having the legendary weapons its all the way around. When i was livestreaming PvP to my friends so i convince them to come here and play you know what happend? i got 1 shot from a rogue before i have the chance to iceblock, i didnt even understand i got 1 shoted, so i was still looking for the rogue even after the duel ended. You know what my friend told me? This is not the WoTLK that he knew and i think i agree with him. Is this the server you want? Full or rogues and hunters? Cause at the end even the sheeps will wake up and understand whats going on and will eventually stop playing, like i did. I am not having fun at all no matter how much i want to play WoTLK this just doesnt feel like it. Thats a fact.

You didn't give any feedback, or at least none useful. You're claiming stuff is "too weak" or "too strong" because you "remember" it differently.
Bring numbers, videos, logs, comparisons and it will actually be feedback that people will take seriously.

Or don't, and try to act like some sort of persecuted martyr, it sure is easier than backing your own claims.
