Daily two factor authentication overkill.

I support two factor authentication, and think its a good idea. I'm a bit frustrated that I am getting it almost daily now. In April I had it 5 times (reasonable). In May it was 3 times (reasonable). June was 8 times, but so far every single time I have logged in since July I have had to do it. On Aug 4th and 5th I had to do it twice the same day. This is especially irritating because I need to do it once for the game, and again for the website. Maybe its something I'm doing wrong that its not keeping it for my IP address, or maybe someone is trying to access my account from a different one.

Any ideas on why this is happening so much now, versus a few months ago?

I believe the game only requests 2FA when signing in from a new IP. Is your IP changing?

I recently moved. I figured that may be part of it, but I'm not moving daily. I only ever log in from my own home. I don't see why my IP would be constantly changing.

I would check the IP periodically to see if it's changing. In my experience that happens with faulty wiring or bizarre ISP configurations. I've seen a few scenarios where a modem would periodically reconnect due to some wiring that hadn't completely failed but was far enough out of spec to cause signaling issues. If the wires are fine then it's probably one of those bizarre configurations.
