Hello there,

one of those possibilities is to change your race for 20 points, some people say you can also change your name and appearance, but other people say I will be able to change appearance and race only upon using those points for it.

So basically, what do I get?

IIRC either Race or Faction change allows you to customize your character again almost entirely. Only thing you can't change is your class.
Been a while since I last did it.

You can change everything: your race, your appearance, your gender, and your name. The only thing you can't change is your faction.
