It's an herb you are supposed to find in the underbog, the slave pens, the steamvault and two other dungeons of auchindoun, shadow labyrinth i don't remember the last one.
I have spent hours looking for this lichen in those dungeons, either in HC or NM and i've found nothing. I've tried gathering from the corpse of some giants, nothing dropped neither.
Has it been removed by the staff ? Why ? If so, where am i supposed to find those ? Ty
Sethick Halls and Crypts have a few spawns each.
Instance nodes were reduced/removed due to botters/players abusing them.
Ok so how do u farm it now ? How can i get my hands on ancient lichen ? What's the point of taking it out of the game if it forces ppl to go through another questline for alchemy spec and pay 150g to finally get the elixir spec ?Quote:

IIRC there are some spawn locations outside of the Auchindoun instances (not sure which ones) normally. If the old trick is still true, kill those big tree dudes in Skettis and the few between Stonebreaker Hold and Allerian Stronghold and gather herbs from their bodies.
