Unable to validate game version

Hello,

Have created a fresh warmane account and downloaded the WOTLK 3.3.5a client from this forum to play on my MacBook Pro however I keep getting the 'Unable to validate game version' error whenever i try to log in.
I've went through probably all forum posts (and not limited to) about this issue and tried all solutions but nothing seems to work (strictly when it comes to playing on warmane private servers).

I'm positive that this is not an issue from my end and it's more of a warmane account validity/eligibility matter as I've tested this same wotlk client on other private servers and had absolutely no issue.

Question to warmane mods/admins, could you please look up my account and see if something can be done about this?
I'm a longtime sporadic warmane player and have played wotlk on this MacbookPro before, but with a warmane account for which I sadly no longer have access to (it's email) and therefore can't obtain the 2factor auth code.

Alternatively, if i provide my old account and pass to the warmane team, is there a chance to have the email address changed from their end, to my new email address?

If you search for "Unable to validate game version" in this forum you will find that many have encountered this issue. I think the server blocks the mac client. Possibly because it's incompatible with the anti-cheat. If you want to play you will have to use the windows version of the client under crossover or whatever.
