In the Twitch chat, he even admitted to using AHK, claiming it’s allowed. If he’s at a 3k rating and streaming, does that mean it’s actually permitted?
AHK has always seemed a grey area: all 3rd party programs are illegal, but people don't seem to get banned for using AHK.
There is a difference between using AHK to spam a button combination and using it to have AHK play the game for you.
Some classes are top yawn without AHK.

AHK in itself can't really automate the game for you. We don't worry too much about things like autofire and hardware macros considering how many commercially available keyboards provide those features. We have a problem when the software starts playing the game for you like making decisions and sending input without hardware action.
