Proposal: Ban Auction House Bloat

I'm going to use a great example of what I call "Auction House Bloat". You have these people who will multiply the single item price of something, in this case Goldclover which normally goes for about 4g, and they'll list a ton of single stacks. At the time of writing this there are 61 PAGES of Goldclover because of all the single stack listings. Look at the listings below and you will see clearly.

I propose, at minimum, confiscating their supply or suspending their accounts. I think it should actually be considered spamming and disruption of gameplay. The argument could be made that they are only giving offers and nobody has to take their overpriced offer, but I'll fire back with the same argument against telemarketers. There's a reason why governments finally stopped them from calling and making their offers that nobody had to take; It was harassment and so is this.

There are a number of these people. It would be really cool if we could just report them and remove them. They are a useless disease on the market and need to be put away now.

This wouldn't be a problem if warmane had not implemented an artificial delay for each action house query. Looking for a single item should take one or two seconds but can sometimes take upwards of ten seconds.

Yes, but enjoy sitting there waiting for the addon to scan all that garbage. It scans the entire catalog of listings for that particular item ID. I've seen hundreds of pages before on a single item. It is basically like a DDOS attack on the AH and its a total SCAM on the people who want to go buy something. They often cant find it because it would take an hour to get to a page that has a decent price. So if they need it then their arm is twisted into giving up and buying that overpriced listing. THAT is the problem more than my inconvenience.

Its scamming, spamming and disease. Warmane, please obliterate these accounts. They are making your server economy worse all the time.
